IAQ Technician (Duct Cleaner)
As an IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) Technician, you will be improving indoor air quality environments and the performance of HVAC systems for our commercial clients. Your work directly impacts the health and comfort of the spaces we service—whether it's through duct cleaning, kitchen hood maintenance, dryer vent cleaning or air-handling unit inspections. In this role, you will be responsible for
- Cleaning duct cleaning systems to provide basic maintenance and performing inspections through effective communication.
- Perform air-handling unit cleaning.
- Clean and mark if needed, all registers and returns.
- Clean Kitchen Hoods and their exhaust duct systems in commercial kitchens.
- Provide maintenance on duct cleaning equipment and tools.
- Track inventory in vehicle daily basis.
- Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the business for cleaning.
- Take before, during and after photos of job being performed.
- Assist in clean-up of work area.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for 8-hour shift
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs repetitively.
- Ability to bend, twist, reach and stand for extended periods of time.
- Shall always follow company safety policies, by wearing the proper PPE for each job task as required by VOSHA, OSHA, and NIOSH guidelines.
- The ability to climb and work from up to a 40-foot ladder.
- Able to work in various weather conditions.

As a member of the duct cleaning team, your contribution will directly help to create healthier, safer, and more sustainable environments, ensuring that buildings stay healthy and continue to serve their occupants for years to come.

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- We will work with a high school senior who is looking to fulfil their co-op experience with their tech school.
- Confined space certified preferred
- Due to the nature of the business, flexibility and the ability to work off-shift hours and the ability to travel to various jobsites is required.

Benefits
The base hourly range for this role is $22.00 to $35.00 per hour. We determine final compensation based on discussions with applicants and their experience in similar roles.
